My name is Bryce Miller. I have owned my home in the city of Rochester since 2007 in the North Winton Village Neighborhood, and I grew up in Suburban Chili. I was immediately drawn into Rochester city living due to its great diversity, which includes its storied history of being inclusive to LGBTQ individuals. Being a gay male myself I found this to be very important that we live in such an inclusive city for those of all different backgrounds. Rochester has been a trailblazer for diversity and equal rights. I have been with my partner Collin for four years. We have three small dogs. Lucy, Billy, and Robert. We all love going on hikes in the summer. My partner and I also are avid car people, and have a small car collection including vintage convertibles we love driving around the finger lakes in the summer. I love landscaping and remodeling our home that we share. As a full time profession I am a service advisor for Garber Automotive Group. I have been the President of North of East Main Neighbors United (NEMNU) since 2011 and Vice-Chair of North Winton Village Association for the past three years. I was a board member at large previously. In 2020 I was elected to the Monroe County Democratic Committee. I am very excited to take on the role of Vice-Chair for SEAC. My passion in life has been volunteering to make our neighborhoods as vibrant and welcoming as possible. I have always wanted to put neighbors first in every volunteer role I take. I will and always be proud to call the greater Rochester area home.
Recognized by the Neighborhood of the Arts Business Association, Senator Joseph E. Robach and New York State Assemblymember Harry Bronson as an outstanding woman of the Neighborhood of the Arts, Janet Collinge comes to the South East Area Coalition after serving as president of the Neighborhood of the Arts Neighborhood Association. Janet was one of the pioneer organizers of the Neighborhood of the Arts’ BoulevART and artistic traffic control boxes. Prior work experience as a Downtown Guide and in the Rochester Public Library’s Local History Division fueled Janet’s love for the city and created many unique experiences, resources and connections. Janet, who holds a Master’s degree in Communications from the University of Central Missouri, is delighted to continue her service to her beloved city as the 2020 Flower City AmeriCorps Community Engagement.
Andrew serves on the board of the Maplewood YMCA and previously served on the board of the Monroe Family YMCA for ten years, four of those as the chairman. He is a board member of the South East Area Coalition (SEAC), and also volunteers as a Civil Service Commissioner for the City of Rochester.
Andrew holds a BS in Biology from The George Washington University and an MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Not all work and no play, Andrew is a stained-glass artist who has been commissioned to design and build custom windows ranging from 140 year-old brownstones to mid-century mod houses. He has recently picked up blacksmithing and is currently developing his skills in blade-smithing. In the warmer months, he spends weekends with his wife and children at their place near Chautauqua Lake.
