The South East Area Coalition is looking for an individual with a strong passion for non-profit work and the desire to strengthen the agency’s mission and programs within its Four Pillars of Focus: Poverty, Neighborhoods/Communities, Children, Local Businesses.
The Tool Shed is SEAC’s tool-lending library that gets tools into the of our residents, community partners, and businesses, allowing them to create the changes they want to make. The Tool Shed Mobile Unit (TSMU) takes this commitment further by bringing our tools to those suffering from transportation hurdles. The TSMU will park at a different R-Center in the four quadrants of Rochester, Monday through Thursday with flexibility for the last five hour shift, which will be working with the Program Coordinator on various tasks and preparing the next week’s reservations. The position consists of a 25-hour week schedule although some additional hours may be required due to events and meetings. The TSMU Associate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the TSMU and reports to the Program Coordinator and Executive Director.
Our ideal candidate has experience with and is knowledgeable about tools, customer service, and Microsoft Office.
