Monroe Avenue Revitalization Coalition (MARC) Town Hall meeting

by | Nov 6, 2024

On Tuesday, October 29th the Monroe Avenue Revitalization Coalition (MARC) held a Town Hall meeting at the Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word to present the results of their Community Input Survey.  MARC launched the survey over the summer from June 20th through August 31st.  We are super excited to share that over 1,000 people participated!  It may be the most filled out survey of its kind in Rochester in recent years!  Thank you to all who participated.  We greatly appreciate your feedback and insight.

We were thrilled with the response to our Town Hall meeting; Over 100 residents, business owners, employees, and Community Partners showed up to listen to members of MARC present the survey results. It speaks to love, passion, and concern surrounding Monroe Ave!   As MARC works towards securing grants and funding it was important to hear the communities feedback on what they like to see that go towards.

As the presentation ended, the floor was opened for people’s comments, perceptions, and thoughts on moving forward.  Feedback was noted by MARC during the discussion.

You can see the results of the survey here!

Several Elected Officials and their staff were present to hear the passion and commitment for the revitalization of Monroe.

Please sign up to volunteer to attend our next meeting on December 2nd at The Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word, community members will begin the work of revitalizing Monroe Avenue. More on this meeting soon.
