Supporting Pearl-Meigs-Monroe Blessing Boxes

SEAC is proud to continue supporting the PMM Neighborhood Association Blessing Boxes for the fourth year in a row! This year we created 150 Hygiene bags with needed supplies such as toothpaste and a toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, lotion, lip balm and more. Additionally SEAC gives monetary support for the Neighborhood Association to purchase a variety of high protein food for the Blessing Boxes. We plan to do 100 more when we get moved into our new home in January!

Janet Collinge (SEAC Board member) and Lori Wood (SEAC Bookkeeper)

A HUGE thank you to St. Joe’s House of Hospitality for donating 250 pairs of socks they received from the generosity of the Wedge Waddle to our Hygiene Bags!

We hope this goes a long way to help those who need it.

Be well and have a great weekend!

We Have a New Home! The Tool Shed is Coming!

I can’t tell you how excited I am to get to FINALLY post this news!

In the first week of January, the South East Area Coalition will be moving its office to 1255 University Ave!  This location will also house our exciting new program, The SEAC Tool Shed

Introducing our new Tool Shed logo!

A huge thanks to Park Grove Realty for just being amazing through this whole process and offering us such an exciting space to grow our programs!

WHAT’S NEXT

  • We plan to begin accepting tool donations the second week of January.
  • People interested in volunteering at the Tool Shed can fill out our online application and will be contacted in the new year by someone at SEAC.
  • Our goal/hope is to have the Tool Shed open to the public in early March, including an exciting new website!
  • Anyone wishing to make a monetary donation to support the Tool Shed can do so here.

We look forward to getting this new program up and running so we can give our communities and neighborhoods the tools they need to succeed.

Thanks so much to everyone for the support and excitement as we’ve worked towards making this project a reality.

Be well,

Mike Evans
