Welcome Kirstyn (Kiki) Smith!

SEAC is excited to announce and welcome Kiki Smith to our community as our new Fundraising Coordinator!

Kiki has been a resident of the Park Avenue neighborhood since  she moved here in 1995. A former English teacher and professional volunteer,  she has years of experience fundraising for local schools and organizations.  Kiki  is proud to have raised her family  in  the “biggest small town you’ll ever find” and believes in the  importance and power of neighborhoods.  As a very active and transportation-challenged blind woman, she values the businesses, agencies, and resources in our community  and works to help them thrive.

Candidate Forum for Rochester City School District Board

The South East Area Coalition and the League of Women Voters have teamed up to create the Candidate Forum for Rochester City School District Board. This is a great opportunity to hear where candidate’s stand on education in Rochester and why they feel they are suited for the position.

Welcome Jasmin Reggler

The South East Area Coalition is thrilled to welcome Jasmin Reggler to our Board of Directors!

Jasmin has been a resident of the South Wedge since moving to Rochester in 2007. She’s proud to also work in the neighborhood she lives in, as House Coordinator of St. Joseph’s House of Hospitality and Political Organizer with Rochester City Wide Tenant Union. Jasmin founded Rochester Free Store in 2013 (think Goodwill, but everything is free!) Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, Rochester Free Store had to close its doors in 2020. Jasmin looks forward to engaging with the community as part of her role on SEAC board.
